Meet Your Instructor
Kate is the founder and principal instructor at Down to Earth Pilates. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, she has a deep passion for movement and a broad background in endurance sports, including cycling, triathlon, and marathon running. However, discovering Pilates many years ago was a turning point—transforming not only her approach to fitness but also her understanding of strength, resilience, and overall well-being.
Kate is a certified instructor through Polestar Pilates Australia, specialising in Mat, Reformer, and Studio/Rehabilitation Pilates. She is also a licensed Buff Bones® Instructor, offering targeted classes that integrate Pilates, functional movement, and strength training to support bone health, joint mobility, and balance.
Dedicated to helping her clients feel strong, confident, and in control of their health, Kate brings a warm, down-to-earth approach to her teaching. Her boutique studio, Down to Earth Pilates, reflects this philosophy—providing a welcoming and supportive space where clients can move with ease and confidence.
